Golden Singha, Seattle is on the corner of Denny Way and Cedar Street (5 minutes’ walk from the Space Needle).

Family run (matriarch clearly in view), friendly service. A solid choice for a quick, economic meal.

Only low point – drinks are crazy expensive and not very good. Apple juice came in a tiny glass about the size of milk thimbles from school, and lemonade was almost flavourless. Tap water in plentiful, though.
Bosa Kitchen, Southfields, is a Lebanese restaurant, 2 minute walk from Southfields tube, and a cosy environment. Over ordering for the inevitable doggy bag is essential.
Starters were Biama bel Zeit (okra), Moussaka (aubergine), and soujok (lamb sausages). These were hearty and unctuous.
Mixed grill, with lamb kofte, lamb shish and chicken shish. The cuts of meat favoured are the leaner options such as fillet however everything is cooked impeccably, very juicy and tender.
Service was friendly and attentive. BYOB.
About £20 a head, if particularly gluttonous.
Appetisers such as gyoza, edamame are £2.50, bento, rice bowls, sushi, or noodles are all £5 each
Gyoza (not pictured) would have been preferably a little crisper, but the yaki soba had plenty of (the japanese equivalent of) wok hei, and the pork belly katsu bento was very hearty, pork belly meltingly soft and the curry sauce was very pleasant.
A bento box/main would be substantial for 1 person, with 3 highly ravenous people, splitting 2 appetisers, 4 mains, and a bottle of prosecco, £18 per head (including service) is incredibly reasonable for the area.
Perfect fodder for an autumnal afternoon.
